INGREDIENTS
What you will need is:
- 2 slices of bacon/ham
- 1 spring onion
- Small handful of spinach, plus more to plate up
- Salt
- Pepper
- Hot Sauce (if you like things spicy)
Spices that go well with this dish if you want to add extra flavor are: chili powder, paprika, dill, fennel or parsley.
For the preparation:
- Greaseproof paper
- Ramekins
METHOD
The last time I made these the bacon wouldn't come away from the ramekin when it was cooked. So this time to avoid the same problem I inserted greaseproof paper into the ramekin before putting anything in it. If you don't have any greaseproof paper Im sure a hefty amount of coconut oil would work just the same!
So fold your paper in half, fold that half in half and then in quarters and then in eighths. Basically fold it in half and then in on its self 3 times. Cut a curved line as if your making a pizza slice and you should come out with 2 discs to put into your ramekins.
