INGREDIENTS
1 cup of dates
1 tsp almond butter
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbs pure maple syrup
1 vanilla bean
generous pinch of salt
soaking water
METHOD
Drain the water from the dates. Add all the ingredients except for the soaking water to a blender. Blitz for about 2 minutes until everything is creamy and smooth.
Add the water a little at a time to get the desired consistency. Store in an air tight container and consume within two weeks.
Serve with ice-cream, fruit, or cakes of your choice.
