To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance. - Oscar Wilde
ME, MYSELF & I
Hi and welcome to my blog. I am a 21 year old life lover, food adorer & world traveler. I love capturing the beauty in the ordinary. I started off expressing my love for photography through Instagram, following that with my baking website Sweet Inspiration, where I have shown off some of the cakes and baking treats that I have made and sold.
There are no rules or boundaries that I am setting for this blog it is simply just a place where I would like to share the things that I love and find precious in life.
I am here to share, vent and release my love for food, travel and all things beautiful. My growing passion for food, both nutritious and extremely tasty has led me into the kitchen where I find myself experimenting with every aspect of food attempting to create the healthiest tastiest treats for myself, my friends and my family. Not every time is a success but I will share with you tips and tricks that I find help to produce the best result. The recipes that I will post will stem from all different sources. I often use google, cooking books, recipes from friends and family and my instinct!
When it comes to travel there is so much left of the world that I have yet to explore. But where I have been, I want to share the hidden gems lurking around street corners and some of my favorite hot spots and restaurants that I have visited.
When I'm not cooking, baking or eating I am at college. I am student in UCD, studying psychology, italian and art history. I am lucky enough to have attended Le Cordon Bleu Firenze for 3 months in 2012, where I studied Italian cooking. There, I took part in everything from pizza, pasta & bread making to deboning fish chickens and poultry. I came back with knowledge of food I never thought I would have obtained.
I want to use this blog as a journal for both my self and who ever would like to read it, to keep account of the places I have been, the gorgeous restaurants that I have visited and the beautiful food that I have eaten and created. So feel free to leave questions about anything that I have said on this or any pictures you are interested in, Id love to fill you in and learn also.
All photographs are my own, so enjoy! xx
